Description

MD High-performance Surface Prep Towel replaces the use of clay bars and decontaminates paint by removing above surface contaminants, such as bugs, tar, over spray and rail dust, through the use of advanced polymerized rubber technology.

  • Safely and easily removes paint over spray, water spots, fresh tree sap, rail dust, etc. from the surface of automotive paint, glass, moldings and plastic
  • MD High-performance Surface Prep Towel can be cleaned by simply rinsing with water
  • Unlike clay bars, no constant reshaping is need
  • Easy glides allows for safe and efficient handling
  • Fine grade: for new or lightly-contaminated vehicles

Directions:

Use ONLY on clean, cool paint and out of direct sunlight. DO NOT work on the surface below 55°F and over 144°F. Test in an inconspicuous place in case of unexpected adverse effects on paint surface.

  1. Thoroughly wash vehicle. Surface must be free of dust, sand, and dirt
  2. Working one panel at a time, spray a liberal amount of water or clay lubricant onto the area and using no pressure, rub the MD High-performance Surface Prep Towel (dark coated side) back and forth until it glides freely—initial grabbing is normal
  3. When the MD High-performance Surface Prep Towel moves across the surface without any effort, remove excess lubricant with a soft microfiber towel and move on to next panel
  4. When done, wash with a mild soap and water solution and let dry. Do not store wet or damp.
