Description
Micro Detailer MD Acrylic Tire Coating—Extreme Bond Tire Protectant TM is a long-lasting, semi-permanent tire sealant/protectant, which leaves no sticky residue. Unlike most tire dressings, which use high amounts of simple, greasy, silicone oils, MD Acrylic Tire Coating uses high-bond-strength acrylic polymers to bond to the tire. This creates a tough, non-greasy, semi-permanent coating on your tire, which can last many weeks to a few months or more, depending on environmental conditions, application process and miles driven; and will outlast any of those simple, silicone oil-based tire dressings.
►MD Acrylic Tire Coating—Extreme Bond Tire Protectant
- Non-greasy, extreme-durability coating reduces dust, dirt, and eliminates sling of most conventional tire dressings
- Hydrophobic beading action helps keeps tires cleaner, longer and helps repel dirt, dust, snow & rain
- Superior conditioners protect from sun & ozone degradation that can cause drying and browning, preserving your tires for the long term
► Dial-in the Finish
- Achieve a rich, Black sheen, with one layer, or
- Go for a glossier sheen, by adding another coat
► Lasting Finish
- Outlasts any of those simple, silicone-based tire dressings you buy off the shelf
- Lasts weeks or even months longer than off-the-shelf, greasy, silicone oil-based dressings. Durability is affected by specific tire, miles driven, number of coats, environmental conditions, and the state of the tire prior to application.
- The cleaner the tire, prior to application, the better the bonding and the greater the durability
► Directions
Shake well. Use on cool, well-cleaned, dry surface.
- Make sure tire is as clean as possible, before application. Multiple washes may be necessary; consider use of a specialized tire cleaner
- Hold bottle 3” to 5” away from tire (holding too closely may cause drips) and spray evenly on tire
- For a Rich Sheen (one layer): Evenly wipe in liquid using a foam or microfiber applicator or soft cloth. Let stand 15 minutes or until dry before driving
- For Glossy Sheen: (two layers) Wait 30 minutes after first layer, then re-apply an additional time, as above; allow to dry
► Cleaning Treated Surfaces
- For lightly-soiled, dusty tires, a strong stream of water may be all that is needed
- For heavily-soiled tires, clean treated surfaces with a simple, soapy solution; harsh detergents are not recommended or necessary
